Poetry In The Sticks

After a long career in higher education secretariats, Michael Fenaughty swapped city commuting and conference calls across three time zones for views of wheat and sheep. He’s originally from Jerilderie in the Riverina, so Murtoa is very much like his home town.

Michael has written a series of ten poems that are inspired by the Murtoa Stick Shed and he will perform them today. You’ll be entertained by the unique Stick Shed imagery that Michael will weave with words.
