See our Weekend Passes
This display of antique engines and related artefacts is another huge attraction. At over 100 years old, the Richard Hornsby Gas Suction Engines from the original Wimmera Inland Freezing Works in Murtoa are an unforgettable experience to watch.
Included in the impressive museum are four massive single piston Richard-Hornsby engines dating back to 1910 which are believed to be the only set of four remaining on their original footings in the world. An additional display of Single Cylinder Engine Tractors are a major drawcard. Watching them run is a truly unforgettable experience and the Sumpoilers have added a wonderful array of other engines, allied items and artefacts to the display from their own collections.
Be amazed with blacksmithing demonstrations. Not to be missed!
